Huge Provincetown Fixer-Upper Can't Find a Buyer

New, 2 comments

When brokerbabble includes the word "unique," you know you're in for a treat and this Provincetown listing does not disappoint.

Not surprisingly, one of the above was recently featured in our weekly round-up of strange, weird and terrible listing photos, but obviously, most of them could have made the cut. As always, a floorplan would have been far more useful (and easier on the eyes), but no such luck. Here's how the brokerbabble breaks the place down:

Located on over 200 feet of private sandy beach with stunning views over Cape Cod Bay and Harbor, the Sandcastle Resort includes this unique 2747 sq ft condo. Jacuzzi in Master suite with separate entrance to private deck and storage shed for your gardening tools or beach props. Open and spacious south facing entertainment area with brick sided fireplace. Two additional private bedrooms with another full bathroom and washer dryer hookup. Adjacent to association interior pool with hot-tub. Is that the problem, the place smells like the indoor pool? Regardless, the huge-for-PTown 3BR, 2BA unit hit the market in May asking $380,000, or $138 per square foot, but even at that price, a buyer was nowhere to be found. Yesterday, the PriceChopper headed over to 929 Commercial Street and brought the fixer-uppers ask down to $364,000, or $132 per square foot. Still too much? Let us know what you think.
