Taking to the pages of the Wall Street Journal, journalist Helen Kirwan-Taylor has some advice for parents like her, who apparently spend "hours" styling their children's dorm rooms to "resemble a halfway house between a boutique hotel, nightclub and home." Avoid designs that are too "of the moment," because there's no reason that well-chosen pieces shouldn't stay with them till adulthood. Presumably, this means reach for an Animal House poster before one for The Hangover Part II. [WSJ; previously]
