A chunk of Philip Johnson's controversial, postmodern Sony Building will be converted into 96 apartments, which means 96 more wealthy families can get a chance to live in an abode designed by the famed Glass House starchitect. While the developers have filed for paperwork for the conversion, construction on the 1984 skyscraper is still a way's off, Curbed NY writes.
