Yesterday hundreds of pieces from reclusive heiress Huguette Clark's personal collection—a coterie that included patinated bronze lamps and parcel-gilt bureau à cylindres—went up for auction, and now the sales results are in. The surprise winner? The circa-1750 "Louis XV porcelain-mounted, patinated and polychrome-decorated, bronze and ormolu twin light candelabra," which sold for $245,000.
