Between the vintage furniture, flea market finds, and objects from "outside on the sidewalk," very little decor in this hip family home in Denmark comes brand new. "I like walking on the hunt for new discoveries," explains the home-owner Karen May, who shares the place with her husband and four children. "It's crazy what people throw out." The resulting eclectic style—a mix of charming Scandinavian design and cheerful, kid-friendly pieces—stands out against the bare white walls and pale wood floors, both of which are accented with colorful, antique Boucherouite rugs. The "found treasures" style might be frustratingly hard to copy, but go ahead and take a look at the photos anyways.
