The brokerbabble describes this "elegant custom home," on the market outside of Boston for $7M as "simply extraordinary," which is totally the truth if it's referring to the extraordinary lengths the homeowners went to plunder the Pinterest search function for "Diamond Baratta houses." Diamond Baratta, a little reminder, is a design firm known for its pattern-happy interiors, which are stylishly slathered in quirky motifs, tartans, and medallion rugs. So, really, there's no doubt that whoever decorated this seven-bedroom took inspiration from the firm's work—not to mention tips on how to create rooms done up in nigh-100 percent argyle or how to sneak gingham plaid into every room.
