Jeanne Gang has been tapped to design a condo building for Miami's Design District, which already has a Buckminster Fuller dome and a Sou Fujimoto-designed arcade planned for it. Gang, a McArthur Fellow, was recently hailed in the New Yorker as an architect whose "marriage of thinking and building" is on par with Rem Koolhaas, with an attention to material detail that "recalls Louis Sullivan and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe."
