Between the groovy bubble furniture, zebra-print rugs, piano, and monochromatic color palette, this renovated family home in London willfully neglects the whole "tasteful house of the holy" look converted churches tend to go for in favor of all out, cocktail lounge-level swankiness. Designed by local firm Gianna Camilotti Interiors, the new layout devotes the entire nave and chancel to a glossy open living space and kitchen, while the lofted floor above houses two bedrooms.
So as not to completely abandon the residence's former claim to fame, the brick exterior, arched doorways, and intricate Romanesque windows were left untouched, providing a nice juxtaposition. See the full gallery, this way.
