Construction begins today on a new slope-side 116-room hotel at Vermont's Q Burke ski area. Bill Stenger and the Quiros family (also owners of Jay Peak) bought Q Burke two years and spurred $500 million in development as part of the EB-5 project in the Northeast Kingdom. [WCAX]
