The four-firm shortlist to design Qatar's Lusail Stadium, the main hub for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, includes the practices of such heavy-hitters as Norman Foster and David Chipperfield. This new set of contenders comes after the organizers scrapped a previous plan for not reflecting "modern Qatari design and culture," while Zaha Hadid's Al Wakrah Stadium still has the go-ahead, despite drawing attention for the wrong reasons.
