A just listed Telluride, Colorado estate wants $10,250,000 and thinks it's the best real estate listing in the United States. Boldly named Catmando, the 5 bedroom, 6 bath home built in 2003 on 35 acres takes broker babble to a whole new level, claiming that the properties "views are unmatched anywhere in America." And it doesn't stop there. The 11,729 square-foot home's custom finishes are "unrivaled," its amenities "unequalled." Just looking at the listing of this historic Rockies renovation is "a unique experience." While we don't know if it quite lives up to all that hyperbole, the home does have some interesting design aesthetics, including a stone turret, a cool staircase, lots of timber, and a Pre-Civil War barn somehow incorporated into the living area (we can't tell if it's the arched brick or something else). The landscaping is epic, with ponds, waterfalls, a fire pit, views galore, and a Bhutanese inspired bridge. The owners must have a thing for South Asia, because the interior is a whacky blend of American western flair (see the obligatory running horse painting) and Asian-inspired decor.
