Feast Your Eyes On Truro's New Most Expensive Listing

The last time there was a new most expensive listing in town, a Curbed commenter summoned their (anonymous) inner Joni Mitchell and declared, "Poor Truro. They paved Paradise and put up a parking lot." Will this latest pricey pad cause similar finger wagging?

Well, paved or not, this place is rather lovely. Naturally, the 6BR, 5.5BA digs have some brokerbabble worthy of the top price tag:

Incomparable family compound on Cape Cod Bay with magnificent views of ocean and entire sweep of Cape Cod. Commanding 3-acre, bluff-top setting offers private 150' private beach, stunning views, and 3 dwellings: 1)MAIN HOUSE-an extraordinary 10-room homage to the Cape Cod vernacular while embracing 21st century luxuries and sensibilities--it is sumptuous yet casual, grand yet intimate, accessible yet private, timeless yet au courant; 2)The STUDIO--a charming 2-story, bay-view dwelling with bedroom/living room, full BA and 2-car garage; 3)The BOATHOUSE - charming knotty pine studio with kitchenette, 1/2 bath and deck offering phenomenal bay views; 1-boat garage under. The $4,199,000 ask certainly makes this the town's priciest pad, but if that isn't enough, the "two iconic beachfront cottages" next door - with room for a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swinging hot spot - are available for an additional $2,195,000. Yup, that would be $6,394,000 for Truro.
