Storage units, "urban caves," and "live-in mussels": the next frontier for micro homes? Maybe, but that's not to say small-space living has to be synonymous with origami-like cramped quarters that place zero premium on outdoor space. Take, for example, Alchemy Architects' weeHouse, a modular home in Marfa, Texas (above). Put the Jeep in park and settle in on that porch—there may no better spot in the universe to contemplate the very meaning of "art"—always a subject of debate in this funky little town.
