Bad Martha Brewery Opens; Red, White & Blueberry

EDGARTOWN - Rejoice, Martha's Vineyard now has a second brewery! "Bad Martha Beer Co. launched its IPA on the ferries on Memorial Day and opened a brick-and-mortar shop in Edgartown in time for the summer crowds. The store will feature six or more beers brewed on site, along with two from Mercury Brewing in Ipswich." [Boston Globe]

NANTUCKET - Here's a local-ish drink just in time for Independence Day: "Red, White and Blueberry is made with fresh blueberries picked on the Nantucket Moors, fresh thyme, and Lucky Dog Vodka, a premium hand-crafted American spirit, "Born on Nantucket and raised in the Rocky Mountains." Lucky Dog's red, white and blue label and distinctive bottle make it easy to spot!" [Curbed Inbox]
