One of the biggest ski areas in North America might be getting even bigger. Vail Resorts announced that it has submitted a proposal to expand Vail Mountain's race and training terrain at Golden Peak by 68 acres. This would add about 760 vertical feet to the ski racing terrain, and Vail Resorts is also planning on donating an 11,000-square-foot parcel of land to the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail. [Curbed Ski]
