Will Staging Help Sell Provincetown's Priciest Condo?

We're not sure exactly when it happened, but they've called in the orchids to Provincetown's 67 Commercial Street, the priciest condo listing in town.

Unit 4 is a 969-square-footer, or as the brokerbabble puts it, a "Quintessential, waterfront, West End free standing 2 bedroom, 2 bath Cape home with spectacular views of the harbor & Long Point." Indeed, those are some views. The spread comes with off-site deeded parking for two and features two private waterfront decks, Scandinavian bleached white oak floors, bead board galore, an "oculus window" in the guest bedroom, river stone tiled showers in both baths, and "custom modernist shaker cabinets with a resin pebble backsplash, a Sub Zero refrigerator & Miele appliances" in the kitchen. The recently rebuilt space hit the market in September 2013 asking $1,899,000, or $1,960 per-square-foot. In lieu of a meeting with the PriceChopper, the seller has instead decided to bring in a stager and leave the hefty ask as is. Will the furnishings and faux foliage be enough to get this pricey place sold? Let us know what you think in the comments.
