IRS Confirms That Rich People Like Living in Ski Towns

Unofficial Networks has the just-released list of the richest counties in America and to no one's surprise, the list proves that the wealthy love ski country. According to the IRS, the new numbers show that the average income in Teton County, Wyoming (the home of Jackson Hole), is $296,778. This makes Teton County the richest county in America, followed by a few counties in Texas and New York, N.Y., of course. But snow lovers will recognize the 5th richest county in the United States: Pitkin County, Colorado. With an average income of $173,299 (and record-breaking houses like this), Aspenites do live quite the rich life. Head over here for the full list.
