Vincent Kartheiser's Dwell-Approved 'Cabin Loft' Asks $808K

Newly listed for $808K: Mad Men actor Vincent Kartheiser's "cabin loft" (or so a 2013 Dwell feature dubbed it) with propensity for custom tricks—the bed operates on a pulley system!—and rustic-meets-Mad Men appeal that effectively shames any and all of its SoCal McMansion neighbors. The one-room, 609-square-foot bachelor pad is the work of designer Funn Roberts, who not only installed the headboard (made of "a huge slab of redwood [fastened] to the wall [...] on hinges so that, when the bed is raised, the piece of wood can flip down to double as a desk"), hide-able bed, and fiberglass-and-steel screens, but also a sink from a 650-pound rock and other "Japanese-industrial" touches.

Outside, there's enough space for a steam room and a dry sauna that boasts an undulating ceiling made from 2,500 bits of wood. Have a look at it all, below:
