President Barack Obama just signed a bill that will allow the U.S. Forest Service to sell land to Summit County in Colorado for a planned affordable housing development. The 40-acre parcel sits along Interstate 70 near Frisco and Dillon and should provide new housing for teachers, police officers, and firefighters who work in the county but commute from elsewhere because of high housing costs.
