Follow Curbed NY inside the Bayview Correctional Facility—which has been unoccupied since fall 2012 due to damage from Hurricane Sandy—before the 1931 brick buildings gets converted into a commercial development. First used as YMCA housing for merchant sailors, the former medium-security women's prison has a few pretty cool features, including rooftop sports courts and an Art Deco chapel. [Curbed NY]
