Spend the Rest of the Summer on This Island Utopia for $400K

New, 2 comments

At just $400K, the Isla Paloma in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, is one of the cheaper offerings currently afloat on the private island market, but still comes jam-packed with fantasy amenities, cheerful decor, and—of course—miles and miles of uninterrupted beach. Encircled by a protective ring of shallow lagoons and barrier islands, the .25-acre property is apparently completely free of snakes, spiders, and mammals, according to the brokerbabble, and instead houses only "a variety of beautiful birds" and "a few geckos that are residents." In the middle of the (snake-free) paradise, there is a two-bedroom house built from locally sourced wood and furnished in appropriately Jimmy Buffet-centric style (starfish wallpaper! nautical bedding!) as well as a workshop, "party-shack" and dock.
