Despite some late season snow, California is still at high risk for big fires this summer and fall, so let's all be careful out there. The National Interagency Fire Center just released their latest map and it shows below average fire danger in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, and above average wild fire potential in much of the far West and the northern Great Basin. So far this year, however, the acreage burned by wildfires has been the lowest in 10 years.
