Micro Homes

Curbed NY takes a closer look at what might be the most spacious 425-square-foot apartment on the Upper West Side, a duplex remade by Specht Harpman Architects into a "micro-loft." Owner Huxley Somerville bought the space for $95K in 1994, telling the Times he viewed it as an ugly duckling. The change to beautiful swan involved, among other things, adding a bedroom space cantilevered over the kitchen. [Curbed NY; previously]
