Curbed LA rounds up a local architect's harshest criticism of the "most depressing Starbucks in America," which, to be fair, is one seriously dismal stucco box. "The building has no legible design intent; awkward space planning and poor craftsmanship," says L.A.-based Catherine Garrison of one of Starbucks' less than obsessively stylish outposts. "It shows a lack of respect for the neighborhood." More scorchers, this way. [Curbed LA; previously]
