Months ago, Miami Beach held an epic battle of the starchitects to determine the creator of its new convention center, with Rem Koolhaas besting Bjarke Ingels in the final face-off. Shortly after, the committee unceremoniously dumped Koolhaas. Now, word is the powers that be have tapped Arquitectonica, which gave the current building's Post Modern appeal, to be the "exterior architects" for its new version.
