In the far away kingdom of New Canaan, Conn., a couple is erecting a "traditional Scottish castle" out of cement-filled styrofoam blocks, which they claim to be one of the most energy efficient construction techniques. Though not yet completed, the regal domaine currently features "crow-stepped gables," multiple turrets, and a so-called "European attitude" toward eco-friendly insulation materials.
