Rebel Architecture

On Monday, international broadcaster Al Jazeera is launching a new series called Rebel Architecture, profiling designers who use the built environment as agents for activism. By way of six half-hour shows, viewers get to know people taking on urban problems in places like Nigeria, the Occupied West Bank, and Vietnam. It's all an attempt to show how, in the words of Spanish architect Santi Cirugeda, "architecture should be about something more." [Arch Daily]
