Nantucket 2.0

The increasing popularity of Nantucket as a year-round home for folks from around the world has led to the school district population expanding by nearly a quarter in just the past four years. While classroom space is tight, the trend is certainly good news for the varsity soccer team at Nantucket High School who've been, according to superintendent Michael Cozort, racking up victories. "If you watch our soccer team play, it's like the United Nations. You've got an American keeper, a Jamaican sweeper, a left back from El Salvador, and the right back is from Mexico. You've got a striker, Luiz (Terragno) from Italy, and a boy from Ireland, and it works, because they have a common language and a common goal."
