The affordable Swiss chalet ski holiday is at risk in the wake of a mass exodus of UK chalet operators. Dozens of chalets stand empty after a change in Swiss employment law for hospitality workers now requires UK operators to pay the Swiss minimum wage instead of the UK minimum to its chalet staff.
