Everyone Needs This 3D-Printed Castle For Their Backyard

Combining two very good things—castles made of weird stuff and slightly nutty 3D printing projects—into one ridiculous union is this computer-made concrete castle designed by Minnesota-based engineer Andrey Rudenko. Described as "life-sized and capable of habitation," the petite fortress is comprised of a single structure, with a several exterior towers assembled on top. "A new era of architecture is inevitable," says Rudenko of the regal end result. "I have previously been sure I could print homes, but having finished the castle, I now have proof that the technology is ready." That's right folks, plenty more 3D-printed castles to go around in the future. Take a closer look, below.
