This Home's Wave-Facing Façade Wants You to 'Catch a View'

Proving yet again that Chile rules the roost when it comes to low-profile homes that prize unbelievably gorgeous views above all else, LAND Arquitectos' designed the Catch The Views House for the express purpose of doing just that. Fashioned from prefabricated concrete panels in a manner reminiscent of "how randomly shoreline rocks are stacked in this coastal landscape," the home has a very light, austere interior meant to distract from "capturing and framing" the sea and surrounding beach as little as possible. Aside from a few light-bringing clerestories, there aren't any windows in back, turning the home into a kind of theater where crashing waves always take center stage. So go ahead, catch a view:
