As part of its ongoing photo series, Curbed NY today trudges through an abandoned chemical complex in Long Island City. This "warren of abandoned buildings" dates back to the early 1900s, though has long been an empty shell. Soon enough, this graffiti'd husk will soon be stuffed with luxury residences, so these are basically the "before" images for an $875M makeover. It's pretty cool. [Curbed NY]
