Apparently, L.A. Architects Are Really Into Designing for Cats

New, 2 comments

Because combining architecture and cats is a proven recipe for shockingly innovative design (and super fun internet stuff!) a whole bunch of Los Angeles-based architects have hopped aboard a growing trend of crafting weird, wonderful shelters for fancy felines. All displayed in a show titled Giving Shelter, which benefits the city's street cat population, the huts include a colorful tower of tubes, a woven jumble of teepee shaped rings, and, marking the crowd's favorite, a HOK-designed full-on kitty loft building.
