Ready to cash in on what must surely be an entirely untapped market, the Gideon Putnam Resort & Spa in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., now offers a package for couples looking to get divorced somewhere scenic and New England-y. Priced at $5,000, each couple gets a pair of separate rooms, a full spa treatment, tennis courts, swimming area, and golf course access, and, of course, an appointed lawyer. While even the nastiest of breakups is likely more bearable when armed with spa access and a minibar, the idyllic grounds and various stone outbuildings are tactlessly lovely, all dating back to 1795. Luckily, though, the painfully bland bedrooms are just about as unromantic as you'd expect for, well, a divorce hotel.
