In a shockingly fucsia-hued attempt to get the last word in at this years Fashion Week, fashion designer Marc Jacobs plunked down a surprise Barbie-centric house—complete with matching carpeting—in the middle of his runway show. Even more pink gravel surrounded the perimeter of the space, while the brick structure itself somehow manages to look ever so slightly imposing despite its bubblegum aesthetic, thanks to its sealed doors and complete lack of windows. Much like past architectural coups featured in runway shows—Karl Lagerfeld's Le Corbusier recreation comes to mind—the spectacle's been widely documented by fashion people and archinerds alike on social media, so take a good look below.

A perfect pink house is the set at Marc. Then, as if summoned by the domestic gods, Martha Stewart appeared. pic.twitter.com/MCuqNAOPOq— Matthew Schneier (@MatthewSchneier) September 11, 2014
