Each summer, construction takes over ski areas as they prep for the following ski season. Most skiers show up in November when the lifts start turning to shiny new lifts and buildings without ever knowing how all the magic happened. Luckily for construction nerds everywhere, Vermont's Stratton Mountain just released a short time-lapse video that shows how the ski area installed $3 million worth of new gondola cabins. Manufactured by Sigma, an affiliate of Leitner POMA, the 58 cabins seat 12 people each and replace the originals built in 1988.
