Apple's upcoming Norman Foster-designed HQ in Cupertino, California, has had yet another high-flying promise attached to it, to be "the greenest building on the planet," said CEO Tim Cook to a crowd at Climate Week NYC. Quite the tall order for a 2,800,000-square-foot office building! Previous vows include a "supernatural smoothness" with "no seam, gap, or paintbrush stroke showing," and a courtyard that's "essentially a park that would replicate the original California landscape."
