California and Lake Tahoe have had it pretty rough lately (remember the drought?), but over the weekend most ski areas saw snow. Mt. Rose and Heavenly Mountain received a bit of the white stuff on Friday, September 26th, but as Open Snow's Joel Gratz predicted, it really started snowing Friday night. While it mostly rained at lake level, there was at least 4 inches at Squaw Valley and 3 inches at Heavenly. It also looks like the mountains in Colorado and Wyoming received some high-alpine snow this morning. Check out the photos and get stoked Curbediverse, winter is coming!
