After spending just seven days on the market, Nantucket's 5 North Liberty Street, a one time barn-turned-theatre-in-the-round-turned-residence, has sold for its full $5,395,000 asking price. The 5BR, 5BA "Barn Stages" last changed hands in September 2013 for $1,620,000. To refresh, the buyers/flippers, Wesquo Capital Partners, enlisted Cottage & Castle for the top-to-bottom renovation. The result is a rather lovely abode with many of the expected amenities (a gorgeous kitchen and baths, lots of fireplaces and built-ins) as well as some far less common goodies like a foot wash in the family entrance, catwalk over the great room, built in gunite hot tub with remote control, and granite terrace with Paloform gas fire pit. Fun fact: the .36 acre spread overlooking Lily Pond Conservation land was the island's second priciest single-family sale for the month of August.
