This Horror Novel Was Designed to Look Like an Ikea Catalogue

Is there a single other furniture company in the world that's served as a muse more times than the tour de force that is Ikea? Besides starring in soap operas, scientific experiments, and parody sites 'a plenty, the Swedish flat-pack superpower can now boast its very own scary novel—called Horrorstör—based on the brand and designed to look like its catalogues. Chock full of fake torture furniture "based on real devices used in 19th-century prisons," the novel tells the gruesome tale of a haunted home goods store and the three employees who agree to go ghost hunting in its spooky showroom.
