Come Tour the Most Romantic Little Treehouse of All Time

While by nature tree houses are already pretty damn cute, this Wee House takes the whole adorable arboreal architecture thing to an even sweeter and infinitely more romantic level. Westbrook, Conn.-based carpenter Dave Herrle built the woodsy little cabin for less than $4,000 as a gift to his new fiancé ("will you marry me?" is carved into the side of one plank,) using salvaged wood from different job sites, reclaimed windows, and interesting found accents, like a Mexican terra cotta sink. Inside, the place is surprisingly roomy, with a downstairs seating area and kitchen and a ladder that leads to a lofted upstairs space with a bedroom and plenty of built-in shelving. These days, the newly weds live in Wee House full-time, but take frequent jaunts back to their close-by second home in the name of cooking big meals and, uh, showering. Still, it's all very romantic!
