The world keeps on changing. Really, it's just like thing after thing with this place. Just the other month, billionaire video game developer (a jumble of words that wouldn't have made any sense a few decades ago) Markus "Notch" Persson outbid Beyoncé and Jay Z on a 23,000-square-foot Los Angeles spec home, landing it for $70M, the highest price ever paid for a home in Beverly Hills. This past weekend, he threw a housewarming party there. "Love You like a Love Song" singer Selena Gomez came, along with her new boyfriend, "EDM producer" DJ Zedd.
Billionaires, from games on the computer? Electronic dancing music? Nerd parties? Get used to all of these things because they are here to stay.
Here's a full gallery of photos, from EDM photographer Drew Ressler. See our previous coverage of the property for one blogger digging in his heels about how terrible the home was, to the bafflement of many readers.
