Working with paper smaller than the size of the average smartphone, Michigan-based artist Taylor Mazer has been creating some intensely intricate drawings of the urban landscape. These detailed 2-by-3-inch masterpieces, all completed just last month, cast familiar structures like alleyways, billboards, and garages in a tantalizing, eerie atmosphere.
Browsing Mazer's Instagram, you'll see that the process involved layers of pencil work and ink detailing, as well as fastidious maneuvering of tape and rulers. Find a few more works below, and head here for the rest of the series.
