Things aren't looking food for Aspen's busiest developer, Mark Hunt, as the city council was skeptical of plans for two new economy lodges during a preliminary review. Between the two lodges, there would be 81 rooms that would average about 170 square feet each and cost an Aspen-cheap rate of $150-$200 per night. The city council said that significant changes (including plans for parking) would be needed to gain their approval. [Aspen Daily News]
