Drought Watch

Despite a few big storms in early December, things are not looking good for California ski areas, and now Badger Pass Ski Area is temporarily closing due to lack of snow. The ski area plans to reopen as soon as they get some new white stuff, but unfortunately temporary closures will likely become the norm for many of the state's smaller resorts. California is in its fourth year of severe drought. [ABC 30]
