It seems Sparkle King Karim Rashid felt previous renderings for NYC's HAP Eight condo were too restrained, because he just released new ones. Instead of the subdued look that WASA/Studio A was going for, the structure appears to be leaning away from the street, and has a bubbling façade. It's unclear if the new renderings are meant to usurp the old ones, or if they're already cast aside, but, in any case, as Curbed NY writes, "we're all better for having seen them."
