Dreamy Japanese Home is All About Those 'Arched Apertures'

This detached extension to a home in Yamaguchi, Japan definitely steals the show from the main property. Located in a courtyard, the snow-white duplex extension has blond wood interiors and arched doors and windows of all sizes. The upper floor is entered through a ladder-like stairwell surrounded by a pebble garden, while the ground floor kitchen has sliding glass doors that open onto a terrace. Created by the Japanese firm Container Design, this minimalist abode is topped with a white-painted gable roof made of galvanized steel.
