Once Again, Norman Foster's Firm Gets Crowned 'Most Admired'

2015 is off to a good start for British starchitect Norman Foster, whose firm just got voted world's "Most Admired Architect"...for apparently, the ninth year in a row. The "competition" is spearheaded by architecture website BD, who conducts an annual survey of the biggest architecture practices around the globe. Foster, whose 2014 highlights include an Apple store in Istanbul and a winning design for an airport in Mexico City, says the title is "a great honor." Rounding out the top five are Swiss practice Herzog & de Meuron, international firm Gensler, the offices of Italian architect Renzo Piano, and Danish practice Bjarke Ingels Group. [Dezeen]
