Proposed Thai Hotel Is For the Birds, Literally

New, 1 comment

New-Territories M4 is trying to raise $200,000 on Kickstarter for a hotel in Krabi, Thailand that would be half for humans and half for swiftlets, a native bird species. If the project is funded, it would be open almost exclusively to backers who had donated $250 or more, and would be removed after ten years. Check out the Kickstarter page, if only for the truly bizarre video which involves one of the architects eating too-hot soup and making a cat promise not to kill the birds.
