See Schweitzer Mountain Resort Maps Evolve Since 1978


Schweitzer Mountain Resort was ahead of the nonprofit ski area trend back in the 1960s, was taken private in the 1980s, and has bounced its way through a few different ownership arrangements since then. Through it all, this northern Idaho resort with about 2,900 acres of skiing and 300 inches of year has been a great Western ski destination.
